Yoga for tweens is suitable for ages of 9-12 years. It helps build a foundation of physical, mental, emotional and social qualities in a non-competitive environment, building life skills.

A tween Yoga practice will generally include physical movement, instructions for asanas, breath practices, mindfulness and meditation, along with education on their benefits.Kids Yoga teachers at My Zen Yoga and Meditation will hold/or be supervised by a Blue Card holder.

  • Yes we do but our classes are often booked to capacity, so its best to pre-book just in case.

  • Yoga and meditation is a nurturing self care practice which can support you through all of life’s journey. Classes offer options to support students at different stages in their yoga journey however, you have sovereignty over your practice and if the practice doesn’t feel right for you, you can modify, rest or stop.

  • Whatever is comfortable for you and allows you to move with ease.

  • Please bring your own water bottle. You may also like to bring your own mat and props - however, there are some available at the studio.
